Hands (Poetry Session)

Dear Internet,

<3 this tablet!
=Hands=
Don't fall asleep in your hazy un-dreams,
Please blink calmly and hold out your hand,
To wonder so slowly - within your seams,
For the night time to catch, if you fall when you stand.
Ignore the creaks and the cracks in the days
But tremble and cover your eyes without rays,
Watch the door for faces unknown
But see the ghost girl, her eyes ablaze
Her irises haunted as she stands here, alone.
You try to reach out and hold her palm.
Though you never will reach the rooted harm
Within her head, not in her wrists,
Not in her bed, but in her risks.
Lie in the cold, without a friend.
Go ahead and try to mend your broken tears
Which never fall, so even while it's been some years,
I don't think you can lose your fears.
Say you found a hand to hold; speak your hopeful lies.
You're hoping to convince yourself...
But then you close your eyes.

Bye,
From Bronwyn, too!!

ps this isn't sad, it's happy, just read-between-the-lines happy.
