Blind With Open Eyes

Hi web-reader-surfer-things,

Song thing. About a blind person.

Blind With Open Eyes

I'm blind with open eyes
I can see and I can rise - above it all.
Hear the whispering behind me,
All my senses are quite hightened,
Don't think that I don't know you
Because I cannot see.
I can picture so clearly.

I remember the last day I saw,
I took it for granted.
Now I can only touch
What I am handed.
Maybe if I live more carefully,
I might see, the irony.

I have 60 pairs of sunglasses
And I have a stupid stick
I always had independence
But today I can't have it.
I'm blind with open eyes and
I will never see the skies
again.

I'll never see a child cry, (:))
But I'll never see the dawn.
I'll never watch someone die,
Or see a baby being born.
I'll never see a smile again,
I'll only ever hear it.
But when I'm in a dark room
I have no reason to fear it! :D

Head high...
Whatever, I'll never see my face ever.
I have unruly hair,
No reason to care!
I don't need your judgement
Because mine's cast in set cement.

Whatever, I don't mind it
Even if I do.
I hate all of this blindness
To what Earth is going through.
At least I still have music
So I can sing and I can dance
I can jump and I can write
Although it's hard without my sight!
I can stare straight at the sun
With no 'wherefores' and no 'whys',
Because I might be blind...
But I'm blind with open eyes.

Oooh! That sounds so official. Me likes. ;)
Also, this is my improv poetry song stuff, 'cuz I type it in and make it up as I go along and only ever minor tweak it for typos. :
